About Karen A. Steckler
Karen Steckler was born and raised in Central New York, attending Mohawk Valley Community College, studying Secretarial Science. She worked and raised her family in the local area until moving to Syracuse in 2018. Recently returning, she resides in Floyd with her fiancé, Jeff and daughter, Morgan.
Karen joined our firm in October 2022 as our Funding Coordinator Paralegal, helping clients transfer assets and update beneficiaries to the name of their Trust, aligning with their estate planning goals. In 2024, Karen has since transitioned into and has learned the role of Medicaid Coordinator Paralegal, helping our Medicaid clients become managed or community-based long-term care Medicaid eligible through the use of our estate planning techniques. She comes to us with over 30 years experience in customer service and understands how important it is to provide excellent service! At the office, Karen is ready to offer her assistance to the community with her expertise in asset protection and trust funding and looks forward to building professional relationships with new and existing clients!
When Karen is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and especially her new grandson. She also loves spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and kayaking.
