About Karen DeMauro
When you call or visit the firm, Karen DeMauro will likely be the first person you speak with. She is responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting clients when they come in for meetings, assisting the attorneys as needed, and maintaining client files. Prior to joining EPLC in October of 2018, Karen worked in customer service for 10 years and perfected her interpersonal skills. She was also a Licensed Practical Nurse, which gives her an understanding of the challenges and issues faced by some of the firm’s clients.
Karen was unexpectedly born in New York State while her parents were visiting family for Christmas. She spent the first several years of her life between California and New York. Ultimately, she decided to make New York her home. She graduated from Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School, earned her LPN from Madison-Oneida BOCES, and recently received her Associates Degree in Business Management from Mohawk Valley Community College.
Karen is the proud mom of three adolescent boys who are very active with hockey and baseball. She is also a full-time student working towards her Bachelor’s in Business. In her free time, she enjoys visiting with friends, cooking, organizing her home, and traveling.
Karen takes pride in ensuring that all clients have a positive experience. She looks forward to meeting you during your visit to the firm.
